Oak Health Center is Excited to Welcome Alicia Francois, PsyD Candidate, to its Committed Team

Ms. Francois will serve patients out of the Beverly Hills office.

Beverly Hills, California – March 11, 2024  –

Oak Health Center, a leading provider of comprehensive mental health outpatient care in Southern California, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its team, Alicia Francois, a Psychological Associate and Psy.D. doctoral candidate. Alicia will be serving the Beverly Hills community.

“Working with children, adolescents, and young adults has taught me that no two people are alike, even if they have the same diagnosis or struggle with similar issues,” says Ms. Francois. “For these reasons, I not only love working with these populations, but I also enjoy creating individualized treatment plans that address each person’s specific needs and goals.”

Alicia Francois is currently in the final phase of completing her clinical hours as a Psy.D. doctoral candidate at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. She holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and an M.S. from the University of Southern California. With extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment and a background working with students who have learning differences, Ms. Francois brings a unique skill set to her role.

Before transitioning into the field of psychology, Alicia spent many years working with elementary, middle, high school, and college students, assisting them in building executive functioning, organizational, study, and academic skills. As a learning specialist, she supported students diagnosed with various neuropsychological disorders in surpassing their educational and developmental benchmarks.

“While learning the skills to process and regulate one’s thoughts, feelings, and emotions at an early age is invaluable and can improve mental health, behavior, and overall quality of life, it is also essential to assess and accurately diagnose learning disorders,” adds Ms. Francois. “I am dedicated to addressing the needs of the whole child.”
