Oak Health Center Welcomes Dr. Kaylin Golerkansky, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Golerkansky will serve patients out of the Beverly Hills office.


Beverly Hills, California – March 21, 2024  – Oak Health Center, a premier provider of comprehensive mental health outpatient care in Southern California, is delighted to announce the newest addition to its team, Dr. Kaylin Golerkansky, a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Golerkansky will be providing her expertise and compassionate care to children, adolescents, and adults at the Beverly Hills location.

“As a licensed clinical psychologist, I work with children and teens to identify their strengths and challenge their mental health struggles,” says Dr. Kaylin Golerkansky. “While I have experience using many treatment modalities, I rely on an eclectic toolkit of attachment-based work, emotion-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs.”

Dr. Golerkansky’s professional journey includes extensive experience working in diverse settings, including psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment facilities, and within the foster care system. During her doctoral training, she provided trauma-informed care to foster and orphaned children and teens in Honduras and Samoa, highlighting her commitment to global mental health.

“I have found that each client can tell their own story of courage, hope, loss, love, and faith,” adds Dr. Golerkansky. “I feel privileged to witness the resilient spark of the human spirit in each of these clients. Through my work, I hope to help others gain a sense of purpose and joy that makes their life worth living to the fullest.”

Dr. Golerkansky holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology, a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, and received her Doctorate degree in Psychology from Loma Linda University in 2021. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and UCLA PEERS, a social skills program for adolescents. Her doctoral project involved creating a manualized trauma treatment for adolescents dealing with self-harm behaviors and chronic suicidal ideation.
